PARTY SHOW

The PARTY SHOW breathed life into that dusty old plot line wherein 80's party icon, Sammy Hagar,   threatens to kill everyone unless they party really, really hard. Faced with their imminent demise the Burglars partied with a vengeance. By the end of the evening, "orange whip" had been drunk, blood had been shed and terrified audience members had been drafted into the festivities. A scathing satire of party culture in all its forms, PARTY SHOW examined the themes of death and aging. How do we deal with the inevitability of our own death? Is it possible that our passage from "Young and Hip" to "Gross and Old" may have already occurred? The show concluded on a triumphant note whereby the "Gross and Old" sextet, despite impending death, sagging and wrinkles, magically produced guitars, drums and a synthesizer and rocked the house with their rendition of the Ramones' I Don't Wanna Grow Up.
