EASY TARGETS

ETcarolweb.jpg (38581 bytes) EASY TARGETS brings audience participation to new heights, being the first evening of solo performance that dares the audience to FIGHT BACK.  EASY TARGETS spoofs the ubiquitous One-Person Show, a genre with which every long-suffering theatergoer is all too familiar.  Each EASY TARGETS performance is a terrible grab-bag of
horrible short solo shows  - past audience favorites include "Hi Dad, I’m Gay”, “Yes I Can,Cer!", “An Evening with Abraham Lincoln”, "All About Me", "My Interesting Relative", "A Muse of Fire", "NAM!" and "I Was Molested and Now I Have Diabetes"

The audience is not expected to take this theatrical crap lying down, as ball-park style vendors roam the aisles between shows, selling throwing objects (balled-up socks) with which to decimate the hapless performers, not to mention their props and scenery.

EASY TARGETS premiered in July of 2002, originally intended as a one-off fundraising event.  But due to popular demand, it has been resurrected countless times in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Edinburgh and San Diego.

"...skewers solo performance, giving the audience rolled-up socks to throw at hapless monologists." - Los Angeles Times  ~  "For all those who've ever dreamed of exacting retribution for horrible one-person performances, here's your chance." - LA Weekly   ~   "Seeing a play has never been so much fun." - Daily Bruin
